MEAT – SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT OUR BODIES

God designed our human body different from all the other creatures that He created.

The digestive tract of the human being is approximately 30 feet in length and has many pockets and makes many twists and bends. It was designed by God to move food by means of fiber.

When we analyze meat, we find that there is no fiber in it, which in turn produces a problem for us, because we need fiber to keep the digestive system and our bodies at optimal health. When studying plants on the other hand, we find an abundant source of fiber in them.

As we consume foods high in fiber, they digest quickly and complete their journey through the digestive tract in about 16 hours. Meat on the other hand, because it contains zero fiber, has nothing to propel it through the digestive tract.

When we compare the movement in our digestive track of plant based foods versus meats we become aware that meat moves very sluggishly through the body, taking as long as 3 to 4 days to complete the journey that fiber does in 16 hours.

Another thing to consider that you might not have focused on; is that body temperature is approximately 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit. On that 3-to-4-day journey, flesh putrefies in an atmosphere of nearly 100 degrees. So do you ever wonder why some people have severe body odor? It is because they consume a lot of meat and animal by-products. This is seldom experienced when we eat mostly fruits, vegetables and foods filled with fiber.

When flesh putrefies in your colon it becomes the primary cause of most colon problems – irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), diverticulitis, colitis, Crohn’s disease, and most seriously colon cancer.

ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH ALKALINITY VERSUS ACIDITY?

Did you know that disease flourishes in an acid environment? And that it has a difficult time surviving in an alkaline environment?

Meat and animal foods are highly acidic while plant foods are primarily alkaline.

Let’s take a look at the pH scale:

The pH scale runs from 0 to 14. Zero is 100% acid while 14 is 100% alkaline. The pH of our blood is approximately 7.35 on the pH scale, which is slightly alkaline. If the pH of the blood drops below 7.0 which is neutral and goes into the acid zone our bodies start to deteriorate and we end up dying. At 6.8 disease symptoms begin, at 5.8 cancer cells begin to form, and at 3.5 and below the body cannot sustain life any longer.

God made our bodies in a wonderful way and its primary function is survival, literally meaning to keep us alive. When we continually place acid foods into our body, it has to find a way to neutralize that acidity and keep the blood in the alkaline zone. The only means the body has to do this is to find something alkaline within itself to neutralize the acidity and that’s where calcium comes in.

Calcium is the greatest source of alkalinity in the body. In an effort to neutralize acidity, the body actually goes into the bones and teeth, extracting the calcium to neutralize the acidity. This causes the bones to become porous, resulting in osteoporosis. Therefore an alkaline diet will prevent many diseases as well as osteoporosis.

SOMETHING ELSE TO THINK ABOUT – FAT

Our bodies need fat – that is how God designed us, however, research shows us that animal fat is the concentrated, saturated kind and raises havoc within the body. So what does it do to our body?

It binds up the arterial walls and hinders blood flow, which causes the heart to have to pump harder through the build up which causes high blood pressure. As the build up continues the problem increases until stents are needed and then by-pass surgery or a person has a heart attack or stroke.

On the other hand, most plant sourced foods contain fats that are good for the body, such as avocados, seeds, and nuts.

WHAT ABOUT PROTEIN?

Our bodies need protein, and for the fist 1700 years since creation (from Adam – Noah) humans derived their protein from plants. Most people are not aware that all plant foods contain protein in greater or lesser amounts. Avocados, beans, seeds and nuts are high sources of protein just to name a few. You can check out the raw protein values by typing the vegetable you are looking for at NUTRITION DATA.

Research has shown that highly concentrated forms of animal protein can cause and feed cancer. It is also the primary cause of arthritis, gout, and many other physical problems.

The question many ask is: “I need my protein – I need my meat.” Well God made carnivores and herbivores and humans happen to be in the herbivore classification. So how do we know that? One way you can tell what foods an animal was designed by God to consume is by looking into its mouth and examining its teeth, as well as by observing a few other obvious differences.

TEETH CARNIVORES HERBIVORES
Incisors short & pointed broad & flat
Canines long, sharp, & curved dull and short
Molars sharp, jagged & blade sharp flattened
Chewing none; swallows food whole extensive chewing
Saliva no digestive enzymes contains enzymes
Stomach acidity high low
Stomach capacity large small
Length of intestine 3 to 6 times body length 10 to 12 times length
Nails sharp claws flattened & curved
Pores none – perspires through tongue perspires through pores

Another question to ponder on: Where do cows, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, etc. get their protein from? From the vegetables and fruits they eat. They are big and strong and have no need for meat in their diet.

God created us to eat as natural as possible. Please give this information some thought, as we wish you a life filled with health. We also would like to share with you ABOUT SALVATION because that is the most important decision that you will ever make in your life.

“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 30:17
